Structure-property-processing relationships of small molecule bulk heterojunction organic solar cells

Bio

I was born and raised outside of Atlanta, GA, and I attended the Georgia Institute of Technology obtaining a B.S in Materials Science and Engineering in 2010. I am co-advised by Profs. Gui Bazan and Quyen Nguyen. In 2011 I was awarded the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship.

Research

I study the structure-property-processing relationships of small molecule bulk heterojunction organic solar cells. I'm interested in understanding the driving forces for the development of morphologies favorable for use in high performing organic solar cells and then using this knowledge to design new processing techniques and organic molecules to further increase the efficiency of organic solar cells.
