I received my BS in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Florida State University. As an undergraduate, I worked with Dr. Joseph Schlenoff and completed my honors thesis in the area of polyelectrolytes. In the fall of 2011, I began my graduate studies at UCSB in the group of Professor Gui Bazan.
