Specialization:
Design and characterization of conjugated polyelectrolytes(CPEs)-based biosensing mechanism
Bio:
I graduated from Pusan National University, Busan, Republic of Korea with a B.S. in Nanomaterials Engineering (2012) and a M.S. in Cogno-Mechatronics Engineering (2014). My research topic was design and characterization of conjugated polyelectrolyte and aptamer-based chemo- and bio assays. I joined professor G. C. Bazan's group as a visiting researcher in Jan. 2014.
Research:
Design and characterization of conjugated polyelectrolytes(CPEs)-based chemo- and biosensing mechanism. Improvement and fine-tuning of sensor properties (sensitivity, selectivity, limit of detection, dynamic range, and etc.) by utilizing dynamic change between CPEs (optical platform) and biomolecules (recognition element).
