Specialization:
Design and synthesis of new materials for thermoelectric applications
Bio:
I was born in Germany and obtained my Master’s Degree in Molecular Life Science from the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg. I stayed at the same university and began my PhD work under the supervision of Peter Gmeiner in the field of medicinal chemistry. At the end of 2011, I defended my thesis entitled, “Design, Click-Chemistry Based Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Bivalent Dopamine Receptor Ligands”.
Current Research
I joined the Bazan Group as a postdoc in March 2012. I am working on the design and synthesis of new materials for thermoelectric applications.
